Introduction
What happens when a Rat is cornered and feels it has no escape route, its natural behaviour changes from trying to flee into ‘Defensive Aggression’. This also applies to human beings when they know that circumstances or people are against them they react ‘Irrationally or Aggressively or both’.
Mid Term Elections Likely Outcome
When looking at the current situation relating to the upcoming Mid Term Elections, there is a likelihood that the Republicans will loose control of the House of Representatives and maybe the Senate. This appears to be a referendum on Trump, his administration and actions that are causing major hardship for the USA people both Republican and Democrat.
Trump is being Cornered
Before his second term election as the USA President he made many statements about many subjects, especially about the economy for normal working people, on immigration, on not starting so called foreign wars. etc. His Republican base and many USA citizens were excited about Trump and his promises which gave him victory but not the majority vote, which was secured by the Democrats. However after almost 2 years of the Trump government there have been significant changes due to Trump, his selection of people in his administration, his policies, implementation of those policies and most of all the personal Attitude and Actions of Trump himself. Trump knows the situation and is touring Republican States to boost the Republican candidates and his MAGA base. However, Trump is projecting himself as the saviour asking people to pretend he is on the Ballot which appears to reflect his unpopularity and failings. Outwardly, Trump is dismissing the thought of loosing as he always does but this time inwardly as he is Cornered. I’m sure Trump like the Rat, is planning his reaction ‘Irrationally or Aggressively or both’ to somehow say that the election was rigged and invalid as he did in 2020 when he lost to President Biden.
The Danger Zone
Like the Rat that is Cornered they don’t all escape or face consequences of their Cornering. Given that the Democrats succeed in November 2026 then the likelihood of Trump and his administration facing the consequences of their actions is sure to ensue. That’s when the ‘Danger Zone’ may well begin with Trumps ‘Defensive Aggregation’ in full view using his Presidential Immunity gifted to him by the Supreme Court. There is no doubt he will use Executive Orders or ignore existing Laws and vetoing any new Laws that may affect him or to disrupt Congresses demands. He will be far from being a ‘Lame Duck’ President as he is Dictatorial by nature and he will cause the USA and the rest of the world many problems in the next 2 years. Unless Congress takes action to either impeach him or use the ‘Twenty Fifth Amendment to the USA Constitution’ to remove him from office. However, the Republicans are likely to oppose either of these measures.
